Disney Junior Doc McStuffins Doc Mobile Tour Coming to a Town Near You #DocMobile

My daughter LOVES Doc McStuffins on Disney Junior.  She tells me all the time “I have a diagnoses”.  Season 2 premieres Friday September 6, which is marked on our household calendar of course. BUT even more exciting is that they are doing a 10 city tour of the Doc Mobile!

The Doc Mobile is a 27-foot Airstream trailer that has been converted and features an area for kids to perform a “check-up” on their own toys plus other activities like age-appropriate health and wellness lessons including nutrition and physical development and fitness.  This sounds like an activity that my daughter and I would love and I thought I would share with you guys.

I’m planning to take my daughter, how about you?

  1. Cam B | 18th Aug 13

Emma loves Doc and I can’t wait to see the Airstream. It’s a win for both of us! Can’t wait till it hits our coast!

  2. Lisa | 18th Aug 13

Yay for Disney for putting together a fun and free event that has educational value too – my daughter adores Doc McStuffins! Thanks for sharing.

  3. Deb at focused on the Magic | 18th Aug 13

Aw, how sweet your daughter is! This is going to be such a fun event . Wish it was a bit closer!!

    • Half Crazy Mama | 18th Aug 13

My daughter will no doubt want to bring her “Big Book of Boo Boo’s” with her to the event 🙂

  4. Dan | 19th Aug 13

Please let your readers know that the “select cities” at which Doc will appear are apparently NY, DC, San Antonio and LA. She was definitely NOT in Boston yesterday which pretty much made the event a bust. LONG lines, fee for admission to the zoo, no Doc. Disney blew this one. My family arrived 10 minutes after the event started and waited for 2+ hours to engage in activities my daughter (3 1/2) does pretty much every day at home. She wanted to know why doc wasn’t there and was told she was in her back yard taking care of her dolls and pets. Um, thanks. We didn’t pay to get in because we are members of the zoo, but I saw a post from a p-o’d dad who had paid $56 to get in. Disney is WAY too circumspect about the “select cities”. One would have thought that the only city in which people have to pay to see Doc would have been selected… We love Doc, but got totally “disneyed” by this event…

    • Half Crazy Mama | 19th Aug 13

I’m sorry to hear that Doc wasn’t at the Boston location. When I looked at the Doc Mobile website I saw that Doc would only be in certain locations. They probably should list which locations those will be. I had a friend who went and said they also waited a really long time, but had a great time. I hope everyone still enjoyed their time at the zoo. My daughter keeps seeing the commercials on TV for the Doc Mobile and is 3.5, so she has no patience, and of course the event near us is the last one at the end of September.

  5. Rheanna | 24th Aug 13

So excited for this event to come to DC! my kids love Doc McStuffins

  6. Mama Sully | 29th Aug 13

Bummer only ONE California stop. Come to the beautiful Monterey Bay

    • Half Crazy Mama | 29th Aug 13

I agree. California is a big place and could use more than one stop 🙂

  7. Danielle | 24th Sep 13

    Are you coming to Indiana?

    • Half Crazy Mama | 24th Sep 13

As far as I know the only tour stops for the Doc Mobile are the ones listed. I hope they decide to add more though.

  8. Anna | 27th Sep 13

Please come to North Carolina .. My Daughter Loves Doc McStuffins.. thats all she talks about..

  9. Roger | 28th Sep 13

Disappointed here too. Had a very disappointed 4 year old. In Phoenix, this event was poorly organized. Was sent to several different lines, and never could find anyone that actually had these bracelets. No one knew where they were supposed to go. The bracelets that some did get wouldn’t even allow them to get in line until 3pm (it was 10:30 at the time). For a free event, I do not understand the need for time slots and bracelets..why not just let everyone get in line?
