Did you know….
Roughly 90 million chocolate Easter bunnies are made each year.
76% of people eat the ears off a chocolate Easter bunny first.
In 2014, Easter will be April 20th
Americans buy more than 700 million Marshmallow Peeps during Easter. That makes Peeps the most popular non-chocolate Easter candy. 5 million Peeps are produced each day.
Easter is the 2nd most candy consuming holiday. Halloween is number 1.
16 billion jelly beans are made specifically for Easter. This is enough to fill a plastic egg the size of a 9-story building.
In the old days pretzels were associated with Easter because the twists of the pretzel were thought to resemble arms crossing in prayer.
The Easter Bunny that brings candy and eggs is thought to have started in Germany during the Middle Ages.
Eggs contain nearly every nutrient known to be essential to humans. (Real eggs, not chocolate eggs)
Sooooo….the big question is how much are you going to eat and how many miles will you be running to burn it off? 😉
