Christmas is over and it is time to start thinking about your #NewYouResolution

The presents have been opened.  The decadent food has been ate.  Now we look to bring in the New Year.

I am starting my own personal #NewYouResolution.  Instead of just focusing on a New YEAR’S resolution, #NewYouResolution focuses on you.  This should be about a life change that doesn’t just last a couple months.  It can be to train for a half marathon, lose weight, quit smoking, stop biting your nails, just start exercising in general, cleaning the oven regularly or whatever else you want to change in your life.

I wanted to create a community where we can check in with each other, cheer each other on, offer help and tips to one another and just say hi!  I picked the hashtag #NewYouResolution so everyone can search the hashtag and be part of the group.

Shout out your goals on here and I will write posts with our check-ins to see how one another is doing.

    I want to incorporate more “clean eating” into my diet; I think that would make me and my family healthier and help me lose those last few stubborn pounds!! Looking forward to being part of the group!!!

    Learn to snowboard!

    I have skied since I was 3 so I’ve always been on snow, but this year I decided I want to learn to snowboard. My husband bought me a board, bindings and boots for Christmas. So now I have no excuse!

    I really need to eat better. I know in my head that it will help my performance. Junk just tastes so good though (sigh)!

      I have the same problem. It helps a lot that I don’t buy it for my house. My husband however likes to sneak it in.

    I’m going to stretch/yoga more! It is SO important to incorporate with running! I’m also hoping to PR in a half in 2014!!
