A movie giving credit and talking about a mom who dreamed big while taking care of her daughters through life’s ups and downs? Yes please!
Ok, confession, I am a big Cher fan. I had the chance to review the new movie Dear Mom, Love Cher and I totally jumped at it. This movie is such a great look at Cher’s life and her family. I had no idea where she came from or her background and found the movie totally entertaining. I also found myself laughing out loud with parts of it.
Cher’s mom, Georgia Holt, dreamed of stardom and came from rural Arkansas. She was married multiple times which provides for some funny commentary with her daughters. See the clip below 🙂
The movie has lots of fun family photos and clips. I love the relationship and banter that Cher, her mom and sister have together. It totally reminds me of my family. This would be a great movie to share with your girlfriends, mom, sisters or any huge Cher fan. I would like to also say, that I am a Cher fan, but this movie is more about life, so you don’t have to be a Cher obsessed fan to enjoy it.
Dear Mom, Love Cher comes out on DVD September 24th. (Which is also when Cher’s new album comes out!)
Want to win a copy of the DVD? Guess what?!?! I have a copy to give away!!! I have to have the winner quickly though, so be sure to enter today.
