A Busy Beautiful Week

My family and I were at Disneyland last weekend and were joined Monday by my BFF, her husband and their now 2 year old. It was a trip to celebrate their daughter’s 2nd birthday, BUT my BFF had NEVER BEEN TO A DISNEY THEME PARK! Can you believe that one of my best friends of 18 years had never been to Disneyland before?!?!?

We had such a great time. We drove home late Monday night and they stayed until Wednesday. They are already planning their next trip 🙂

Dland April — The disheveled look is due to we just got off Splash Mountain and this was at the end of our day. haha

I wanted to maximize my time at Disneyland with them, but my daughter’s last day of school was Tuesday and didn’t want to miss it. It was pajama day, so of course she also accessorized with the Snow White headband. She is no longer a “Yellow Duck” and officially will be in Pre-K. Where did the time go?

We are heading to the Tahoe area to visit my mom for the next week. I am excited to continue my Runner’s World Run Streak up there. It is one of my favorite places to run, even with the altitude.
