Brooks Run Visible Gear Review

Running can be dangerous when there are cars near you, especially if it is dark. It is getting a lot darker earlier these days, which means many of us are running before the sun is up or at sundown. We need to make sure to be visible when crossing roads or running along a street. I hear about far too many runner deaths from being hit by a car. Let’s make sure to stay safe out there. This is why Brooks Run Visible gear is a game changer.
Visible in the Dark
How does it work? 3M™ Scotchlite™ Carbon Black Stretch reflectivity is placed in critical motion zones, which helps drivers recognize you as a runner in motion. This can help a runner be recognized by a driver from up to 600 feet away.
I love that the Run Visible collection uses black, white, and neon yellow, but in a vary tasteful way. It is all reflective and helps make you visible, but all the pieces are great looking gear!

Keep in mind that it doesn’t have to be completely dark to be more dangerous. Sunrise and sunset are both dangerous times with low lighting and reflective pieces can help keep you safe. I encourage all my running friends to be safe. I know I for one am guilting of buying a lot of black running clothes and that doesn’t make the best decisions when it comes to running outside. Adding reflective elements is very important.
