New Balance Introduces the 890 into the runDisney Family, I’m a very excited neutral runner over here!

I was very excited about the announcement this morning that New Balance is adding a second line of shoes into the runDisney family!  The 2013 trainers are the 860 v4 shoe, which is more of a stability shoe.  I am a neutral runner, so while I wear these fun runDisney shoes around the parks and to events, I don’t run the races in them.  The 890 is a shoe I could actually run a runDisney race in, which makes me happy 🙂

The men’s shoe will be Goofy themed and the women’s shoe will be Cinderella.  The design is said to be revealed in January.  I’m guessing possibly at the runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Meetup…but that is just my guess.

New Balance and runDisney had previously announced and showed us glimpses of the new 860 v4 runDisney shoe for 2014.  These will be Sorcerer Mickey and pink Minnie themed.  We were also told that these designs will be made for kids too.
