In my recent running shoe search I wanted to give the New Balance 890v4
Runner’s World awarded the 890v4 “Best Update” in their December 2013 Winter Shoe Guide. The 890v4 is a neutral running shoe with a responsive midsole. The shoe also feature “an enhanced ABZORB® crash pad that ups shock absorption and stability”. The top is made of super lightweight material with “no-sew” overlay. Since this particular shoe is part of the Heidi Klum for New Balance collection they are beautiful and an amazing running shoe all in one package.
I have enjoyed all my runs in them. They offer a great amount of cushion with still being lightweight. These shoes weigh in at only 8.5 oz. The 890v4 has an 8mm drop. I wear an 8 in most shoes and these are no different. I have sized up in my NB 1600, but not these. The 8’s fit great.
