In my recent running shoe search I wanted to give the New Balance 890v4 a real try. That is the same model that the runDisney New Balance Cinderella shoe is. In my research I stumbled upon these beauties, the HKNB 890v4. They are part of the the Heidi Klum for New Balance line which means it is the same awesome shoe dressed up in pretty colors.
Runner’s World awarded the 890v4 “Best Update” in their December 2013 Winter Shoe Guide. The 890v4 is a neutral running shoe with a responsive midsole. The shoe also feature “an enhanced ABZORB® crash pad that ups shock absorption and stability”. The top is made of super lightweight material with “no-sew” overlay. Since this particular shoe is part of the Heidi Klum for New Balance collection they are beautiful and an amazing running shoe all in one package.
I have enjoyed all my runs in them. They offer a great amount of cushion with still being lightweight. These shoes weigh in at only 8.5 oz. The 890v4 has an 8mm drop. I wear an 8 in most shoes and these are no different. I have sized up in my NB 1600, but not these. The 8’s fit great.
The Heidi Klum New Balance 890v4 is offered in different color combos and they are all good looking. I feel like most of my shoes lately had some sort of neon pink or yellow on them, so I love the softness of these turquoise ones.
I’m an Amazon Affiliate and here is the link to the Heidi Klum New Balance 890v4. The price tag is the same as other running shoes, so you aren’t paying an arm and a leg for the Heidi Klum name which is nice.
