If you are a Disneyland or Disney World Annual Passholder or DVC and want to run the runDisney Avenger’s Half Marathon weekend events I suggest you be ready for early registration Tuesday, March 24th. The runDisney races sell out faster and faster. Here are some tips for how to register early.
FINDING THE EARLY REGISTRATION PAGE:
To register you need to log in to your DVC site or the Disneyland or Walt Disney World Passholder sites. On the Disneyland Annual Passports area, click on Disneyland News and there should be a link to the “Register Early for runDisney events”. On the Walt Disney World site go to “My Disney Experience” and scroll down to “Annual Passholders”. Once in the Annual Passholders section click on “Events and Special Offers” and you should see the runDisney early registration option. Good luck!
Even the early registration sells out quickly. I recommend being online right at 9am PST/ Noon Eastern.

My sister and I are hoping to do this race together. I haven’t ever done this before and she had no idea she could register early as an annual pass holder. Do you know if she is able to sign both of us up or just her? And if I sign up on the 7th or April, is there a certain website I go to? The registration process is giving me such anxiety, I took the whole day off work just to be sure I could be available for it. Any advice would be appreciated. Your blog is super inspiring to a Disney freak looking to get some awesome races in!!

I’ve never had to register anyone else, but from what I understand is that the pass holder can register themselves and family. If she isn’t able to be online right when registration opens and you should be fine, but don’t wait. Be on right at 9am PST and keep refreshing page until it opens. Honestly, early registration is the same way, so I recommend the same thing for her 🙂

Emelia~I deferred my registration from last year. They said they will send me an email two weeks prior to the 2015 ASH half goes on sale with a confirmation email-link. I have not received anything yet. Have you ever deferred any Disney races?

Oh good!!!! I had emailed a friend asking because I have never deferred before and didn’t know how it worked 🙂

it was my first time too and with all the anxiety of early registration I have to say it was a breeze! For a second I thought they forgot about me but NO! I only had to pay four dollars (processing fee) but not all the runs are eligible for deferral. In my case, because of my mom passing, I had no choice but to defer. Now that I got in I am static! LOL

Are you doing the infinity gauntlet challenge?
