Athleta Good Match Skort Review
My husband (best husband ever) got me the Athleta Good Match Skort as a present. It is SO stinkin cute. It is my first Athleta run skirt, so I didn’t really know what to expect.
I took it for a 5 mile test run and LOVED it. It didn’t ride up, slide around or chafe. It stayed put and I didn’t have to fiddle with it. If I have to mess with an article of clothing while running it puts a big damper on a run for me.
On the Athleta site it says that this skort is made for tennis, run and gym/training. There is a zipper pocket in back on the waistband that could hold a smartphone. There is also a pocket on the shorts for a tennis ball and an internal key pocket.
To give you an idea of size I normally wear a size 8 in other brands and this skirt is a medium and fits me perfect. Their sizing chart seems quite accurate.

Very cute. I am addicted to running skirts, but I struggle because I am tall with long legs, and I just don’t feel comfortable in a lot of the offerings. I do have an Athleta skirt that works pretty well (although I am in between sizes, so it’s a little looser than I would like it in the waist), however I love the style of this one. You probably already know this, but just incase not, I saw that they offer tall sizes. I have a friend who is 5’10 and loves the tall so her “bum isn’t hanging out for the world to see” her words. Lol

I love the look of this one but I’m really picky about my running skirts – the shorts have to be just the right length! I don’t have an Athleta store near me so I’d have to order online and keep my fingers crossed!

Athleta is owned by Gap, so I don’t know if you can, but I wonder if you would be able to return to a Gap store if you didn’t like it?

I would love to try Athleta also, but would need to order online. Hopefully I can research and find their return policy, just in case… I love the ruffle!!!
