I recently learned about the app Charity Miles (even though they launched in 2012). It is a free app that you can download, pick a charity, press start, run and money is donated to that charity for every mile you run. You can run for the same charity all the time or even switch it up every run.
Here is a list of the charities:
Wounded Warrior Project
(RED)
Feeding America
Stand Up To Cancer
ASPCA
Habitat for Humanity
Alzheimer’s Association
The Nature Conservancy
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Every Mother Counts
Autism Speaks
Soles4Souls
Special Olympics
DoSomething.org
The Michael J. Fox Foundation
The World Food Programme
Girl Up
The Partnership For A Healthier America
Pencils of Promise
Shot@Life
Vision Spring
She’s The First
Achilles International
Nothing But Nets
Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America
the Ironman Foundation
Team RWB
You can also bike ride for Charity Miles. Bikers earn 10¢ a mile and walkers and runners earn 25¢ a mile.
I was not approached, sponsored or asked to write this post. I emailed Charity Miles with my questions and told them I wanted to write a post about the app. They gave me great information and provided me the photos. I am just sharing this information because one person running miles for a charity doesn’t equal a lot of money donated, but with a bunch of us on board we make a significant impact. Members have raised about $700,000 so far! I love this amazing community so much!!! I encourage everyone to share this information and app with their friends 🙂
To download app or learn more you can visit the Charity Miles website here.
Do you have the Charity Miles app? If not will you download it?
