4 Tips For Packing School Lunches

This post was created in partnership with Stonyfield.  All opinions are always my own.

tips for packing school lunchesI think a lot of moms all share a collective sigh when the kids go back to school. Partly relieved and partly sad. One thing I feel like is hard to get back into the swing of is packing school lunches. You want to pack something healthy, but that your kids will actually eat. You want a variety, but yet are limited to what can fit in a lunch box. Here are 4 tips for packing school lunches:FullSizeRender

    1. Get a PackIt freezable lunch box, like right now! Did you get one yet? Seriously, no more ice packs in the lunches that get beat up and crusty.  We all know the ice pack struggle.  The small ones melt before lunch time even comes around and the bigger ones take up half the lunch box! The PackIt freezable lunch bag is amazing!  They come in a couple different sizes and you can find the PackIt Freezable Lunch Bag on Amazon here. With Prime you can even have it ASAP!

  1. Pair Justin’s Peanut Butter or Almond Butter packets with apple slices.  My daughter loves apple slices and peanut butter and the packets are perfect for her to just squeeze right out on to the slice.  Tip: Put a little lemon juice on the apple slices so they don’t turn brown.  FullSizeRender
  2. Freeze Stonyfield YoKids Organic Squeezers the night before.  My daughter loves them partly frozen as a treat.  By lunch time they soften up just a bit and she thinks it is a frozen yogurt dessert! FullSizeRender
  3. Justin’s Snack Packs are GENIUS!  My whole family is a fan of them.  The pretzels with chocolate hazelnut butter is amazing!  Your kids will thank you. IMG_1265

I wish all parents everywhere good luck on this new school year!  Do any of you have a great school lunch packing tip?
