2016 Star Wars Half Marathon- Light Side Dooney & Bourke Purses
runDisney has released the design for the new 2016 Star Wars Half Marathon- Light Side purses. These are the ones for the Disneyland races in January. You can preorder here. Select “registration” and then “comparative items”.

Meh, since they are going with the light side of the force, i really expected the purses to be only the good guys. Which i’m just not seeing. I see vader at at ‘s and a bunch of other dark side stuff. I would have enjoyed more Leia, Luke, Han, Chewie, Falcon, R2 type exlusively light side stuff. Bummed, i don’t think they put a lot of thought into this one. Light side = bright colors, guessing dark side will be black colors. Zzzz, but happy for those who like the designs of course 🙂 Everyone is always looking for different things it seems 😉

My guess is these purses were designed months ago before the Dark Side half marathon weekend was revealed. I would like to see more characters from the new movie, The Force Awakens, on the merchandise.
