2015 runDisney Frozen 5k- Princess Half Marathon Weekend

Disney sure does theming well, but they may have out done themselves with this whole Frozen theme for the Frozen 5k during Princess Half Marathon Weekend. It was 30 degrees IN FLORIDA at the starting line.  Since I dressed as Elsa and Anna last year at the Princess races I had to come up with some other costume ideas. I decided to go with the Evil Queen for the 5k and I am glad I did.  The hat kept my ears nice and warm.

The race started at 6:15.  I was in corral A.  I was so thankful to start running and warm up my body.

In the first half mile was Minnie Mouse.  The line was long, but I stopped.  I love me some Minnie Mouse.

We entered Epcot near Mexico and in Norway was Pluto.

Next I ran into Mickey in America.

All of the pictures lines had been super long.  Goofy was near Canada, but I didn’t feel like waiting in a long line again, so I took a selfie. 

On the stage near the water fountains by Spaceship Earth was Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff.

Other than the cold I had a really good time.  The picture lines were long, but the characters they had out were great.  I sometimes feel like the 5k races get the B list characters and today that wasn’t the case.  I’m excited for the my Glass Slipper Challenge starting tomorrow with the 10k.
