The kids are home from school for the summer which means you need more activities to keep them busy. Here is an easy craft project that the whole family, including kids of all ages, can do together. My 4 year old did this project with me.
All you need is clothespins, paint and a wreath frame. I got all these supplies at Hobby Lobby, but are readily available at any craft store. It usually takes 70-80 clothespins, depending on the size of the frame.
First step, paint a third of the clothespins red, a third blue and a third white.
Once the blue ones are dry paint stars on to them. They don’t have to be perfect because from a distance even dots work to give the idea of stars.
Next open up the clothespins and clip them on to the wreath frame. Alternate red and white, except for a quarter of the frame clip all blue so it resembles the American Flag.
It is super cute and festive for the 4th of July and the kids will have fun painting.
Do your kids love crafts as much as mine?
