We are all spending a lot of time at home lately. I thought I would put together a list of my favorite products that I can’t live without. I use these daily and absolutely love them. Here are kitchen gadgets, games, small appliances, books, and other great things to enjoy while at home social distancing.
Air Fryer– I use my air fryer constantly. It crisps things up perfectly and cooks things in a fraction of the time it takes to cook food in a normal over.
Yahtzee– Just in case you don’t already own Yahtzee I wanted to put it on the list. My family has a good time playing and it helps solidify my daughter’s math skills because we put her in charge of the scoring.
Le Creuset Dutch Oven– Dutch ovens are for more than just stew! Since this whole pandemic started I now make bread in my dutch oven. It is delicious and super easy! This is the recipe I use.
Cookbook for Young Chefs– This cookbook is by America’s Test Kitchen and it is great to help kids learn how to read recipes and prepare meals for the family. I love that my daughter is eager to learn more about cooking and what a great opportunity we have to teach our kids while we are all at home.
Connect Four-I remember playing this game all the time with my dad when I was little. Now that we are home I’m breaking out all the old school favorites.
Crayola Washable Paints– Now that the weather is getting nicer, for the most post, throw down some paper, enjoy being in your yard, and paint with your kids!
Magnolia Table Volume 2– While we were all busy with a pandemic and sheltering in place, Joanna Gaines came out with a new cookbook. So if you don’t have it already, click this pic to grab it!
Instant Pot– If you don’t already own an Instant Pot you might live under a rock. This is a perfect time to get one. I use it constantly.
Tumble Track– It’s like a mat and a little trampoline all tied into one. My daughter loves to practice her tumbling on this and it is a great outdoor activity.
Rub-A-Way- I don’t know about you, but I am cutting a lot more onion and garlic lately for all these recipes I am making and my hands always smell afterwards. This will help you get rid of that!.
Where The Crawdads Sing– If you haven’t read this book yet, do it. It was good. Give it a couple chapters to get into it.
Cornhole– Games that you can enjoy with your family are a great thing right now.
Subversive Cross Stitch– I enjoy cross stitch and find it keeps my mind busy and is calming. I love my “Suck It Up” cross stitch that I made from this book.
I hope you are all hanging in there, trying to make the best of an unimaginable situation. These are just some products to help you and your family enjoy life at home a little more. What are some of your favorite things you are doing right now? Stay safe!
