We take vitamins daily for our health, but what if taking vitamins can also help someone else?  Now it can!  Vitamin Angels is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide at-risk mothers and children life-saving vitamins and minerals.  In 2014, Vitamin Angels reached 40 million children in 45 countries and are distributing 300 million vitamins in 2015.  

I always think that if I have the ability to help others by doing something that I would do anyways, then it is definitely worth it.  I raise money for charity by running, donate food to foods banks, and donate clothes and blankets to organizations that help others.  If taking vitamins can help others then we should all be taking vitamins to help more than just ourselves.  

I feel so fortunate to live in the United States, have food in abundance, and never have to worry where clean water will come from.  There are millions of children around the world that have none of this.  This summer we have basically lived at the swimming pool.  My daughter will never have to worry about the quality of food and water.  As a mom, if I can help other moms and children around the world with something as simple as buying vitamins, which I do anyways, then I will share it from the roof tops and be buying all our vitamins to help Vitamin Angels. Most people don’t know about Vitamin Angels and I would love for you to share this with your friends.  The more people aware of the organization, the more it can benefit those that need it most.
