I literally crave this smoothie. It is so creamy and tastes sinful when it’s in fact good for you.
1/2 a Banana
2 Dates pitted
1 1/2 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 tsp Cacao Nibs
2 cups Fresh Spinach
1/2 a scoop of your favorite chocolate or vanilla protein powder
1 Tbsp Chia Seed
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until desired consistency. It sounds like a really weird combo, but it is absolutely delicious. The spinach will give it a green color, but I promise this does not taste like a green juice. It is creamy and dessert like. You can always alter or add more or less ingredients. That is the best part about a smoothie, you can throw whatever you want in a blender! Sometimes I add powdered peanut butter for a banana/chocolate/peanut butter flavor.
The chia seed is great for an energy boost. This smoothie is a meal replacement for me and it doesn’t leave me hungry. The dates add sweetness to the smoothie in a natural way.
