Blisters are painful and can cause a huge upset to your marathon training. Having to be sidelined by a blister for a week while it heals is not an option when you need to log lots of miles getting ready for a race. I found COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions and they are the answer to my blister problem during marathon training.
The most painful part about a blister is the missing skin and it just rubs with every step. A traditional bandage just doesn’t cut it on a long run because it falls off, wrinkles up, or just rubs even more. COMPEED® Medium Blister Cushions cover the blister completely like a breathable second skin and cover the exposed nerve endings to relieve pain. You can barely see it on my heel because it really is like a second skin.
I buy my COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions only at Walgreens. They are located right in the Foot Care section.
Don’t worry about those blisters while trail running because COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions stay in place all day and provide a barrier that protects against water, dirt and bacteria. I wear them running and they don’t peel off and get stuck to my sock like traditional bandages. I wore COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions on my right foot during the Chicago Marathon last week and had no problems at all. It was amazing.
To use you just apply the COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushion firmly over the blister and leave in place until it starts to detach naturally. Mine usually stays a couple days.
It isn’t just marathon training that gives me blisters. My favorite pair of high heels does it too. Instead of just grinning and bear it I use COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions and it is like heaven. My feet are the happiest they have been in years now that I discovered COMPEED® Blister Medium Cushions.
