So my family and I took the redeye Friday night to Orlando and we arrived Saturday morning. We are at the coast visiting some family and than will head to DISNEY WORLD tomorrow (Tuesday). Woohoo!!!!
We will check into our hotel. I will unpack and check and double check my race clothes for all 4 races in my OCD style. Wednesday is expo day. Since I am running the Dopey Challenge that is the only day I can packet pickup. My hopes and dreams of what I want to accomplish at the expo are:
Finding and visiting the INKnBURN booth
Dopey Packet Pickup
Obtaining the new runDisney New Balance Minnie Mouse shoes in a kids size for my daughter.
New arm band for my phone, but I also use for my GU.
Visiting the Sparkle Athletic #TeamSparkle booth because I forgot a skirt I needed! ughhh

And I think that sums it up.
I was hoping that brining my 3 year old to Florida early this year would help reset her clock, but it seems to be doing he opposite! The last 2 years I have ran the Goofy Challenge and I always said the hardest part isn’t the miles. I train for the miles. The hardest part for me is the sleep. I can’t get my daughter to bed until after midnight because of the time difference for us and than I have to get up at 2:30am to get the bus by 3:30am. Last night was an epic fail. My daughter didn’t go to bed until 2:15am!?!?!? I am slightly panicking inside that what if that happens on a race night?!?! I may make her run laps around Boardwalk with me just to wear her out.
