So I previously told you guys how I injured my ankle. It is still a little swollen and a little sore. I was going to try a run, but since I have Dopey Challenge in a few weeks I would hate to make it worse. I am prescribing myself some more rest. I don’t want to do anymore damage. Sometimes you have to listen to your body and that is what I am doing.
I was hoping to finish my marathon of Dopey Challenge in sub 5 hours, but now I think I am going to adjust my pace and timing based on the fact that I hurt my ankle. I don’t have to finish fast, I just have to finish 🙂
I have my ankle brace, but I think I will be paying the KT Tape booth a visit at the expo (hopefully they have a booth). My ankle brace is great for shorter runs, but anything over 10 miles it starts to rub to much and KT Tape will be a much better bet.
