The Runner’s World Summer Run Streak is running at least 1 mile every day from Memorial Day until 4th of July. This year that worked out to 39 days.
When I started doing the run streak I wasn’t entirely sure if my body would like it or revolt against me. I’m happy to say that my body seemed to love it.
The least I ever ran in one day was 2.5 miles. Regular days I ran between 3.5-6 miles. Each week I would have at least one day of 8 miles+. The last day on 4th of July I ran the Swagtastic Virtual Half Marathon. It seemed fitting to end the streak with 13.1 miles. I lost track of exact mileage, but it is somewhere over 210 miles.

To tell you the truth, I’m not sure I’m ready to end the streak. That sounds a little crazy, but I feel great doing it.
